The Grundfos ALPHA2 / ALPHA3 family of auto-adapting circulator pumps sets the benchmark for energy-efficient hydronic circulation, with AUTOADAPT control that continuously matches pump performance to actual system demand and input power from just 3 W (EEI down to 0.15). A permanent-magnet motor, ceramic shaft and bearings, dry-running protection and high-torque start deliver quiet, maintenance-free operation, while the ALPHA3 adds built-in Bluetooth and flow-based hydronic balancing through the Grundfos GO Balance app. Applications include residential and light-commercial heating systems, radiator and underfloor heating circuits, air-conditioning and cooling circuits, and domestic hot-water recirculation with stainless-steel N versions.
